Express FC is delighted to announce the return of forward Isaac Wagoina, who has signed a two-year contract with the Red Eagles.
Wagoina returns to Express FC following the expiry of his contract with Uganda Premier League side BUL FC.
The forward arrives at Express FC with a proven scoring record. He initially left the Red Eagles in 2024 after an impressive campaign in which he scored 14 league goals, finishing just three goals behind eventual top scorer Shaban Muhammad.
Wagoina is a versatile attacker capable of operating as both a central forward and a winger, giving the team additional options in attack.
The 26-year-old has previously featured for Busei United, Busoga United and BUL FC.
“I’m ready to fight hard to see the team return to where it belongs, starting from Matchday One,” Wagoina remarked after putting pen to paper.
Wagoina also expressed his excitement about working under Head Coach Morely Byekwaso, whom he described as one of the best coaches in the country.
“I’m delighted to be joining the best team, with a great coach who is also one of the best in the country, as well as great players in the team. I believe my return will help me get back to my best, like in the 2023/24 season, because of the quality of players around me,” Isaac added while speaking to the club media.
